NOTICE OF HEARING ON RESOLUTION TO LEVY SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR IMPROVEMENTS

The village board of the Village of Newburg, Washington and Ozaukee Counties, Wisconsin, has adopted a resolution that certain public work or improvements be carried on in the village related to cleaning and pressure grouting of three sewer lateral connections; that a special assessment district be created consisting of 3566 Municipal Drive, 3558 Municipal Drive, and 3550 W Hawthorne Drive; that special assessments shall be levied against property in the district; and that the number of installments required for payment of the special assessments will be determined after the public hearing on the project.

Stantec, an engineering firm representing the village, has made and filed with the village clerk a report containing the plans and specifications of the project, an estimate of the entire cost of the project, and an estimate, as to each parcel affected; of the net amount of benefits.

Notice is given that the report on file may be inspected at the office of the village clerk: M/T/Th 930am-430pm, located at 620 W Main St., Newburg. Notice is further given that the village board will hold a public hearing concerning the matters contained in the preliminary resolution and the report at 7:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 620 W Main St., Newburg. All persons interested, or their agents or attorneys, may appear and be heard.
